Risk Disclosure Statement

Last updated: 9 June 2026

1. Nature of the activity

Participation in the Blue Chip Origin pool ("the Pool") involves speculative trading activity in leveraged derivative instruments, primarily contracts for difference (CFDs) referencing the NAS100 equity index. Trading is executed through a master account held with Vantage Markets. This activity is high-risk and is not suitable for every person.

2. Capital is at risk

  • The value of your contribution may rise and fall.
  • You may lose part or all of the capital you contribute.
  • Withdrawals may be worth less than your original contribution.
  • No return, profit, or capital preservation is guaranteed.

3. Past performance

Any track record, historical performance, equity curve, win rate, drawdown figure, or other backward-looking statistic shown on our website or within the investor portal relates to historical periods only. Past performance does not guarantee, indicate, or imply future results. Future results may be materially worse, including a total loss of contributed capital.

4. Specific risks

4.1 Market risk

Equity indices can move sharply and unexpectedly in response to macroeconomic, political, monetary policy, or company-specific events. Adverse moves can cause rapid losses, including outside normal trading hours.

4.2 Leverage and margin

The strategy uses leveraged instruments. Leverage magnifies both gains and losses. A small adverse market move can result in a disproportionately large loss to the Pool.

4.3 Liquidity risk

In stressed market conditions, executing trades or withdrawals at expected prices may not be possible. Withdrawal requests may be delayed if the Pool needs to reduce positions in an orderly manner.

4.4 Counterparty risk

The Pool's funds are held with a third-party broker (Vantage Markets). If that broker fails, defaults, suspends withdrawals, or otherwise becomes unable to return client funds, participants may suffer a partial or total loss.

4.5 Operational and technology risk

Automated trading systems can and do fail. Software bugs, latency, feed outages, broker outages, hardware failures, or human error may cause unintended trades, missed exits, or losses that would not have occurred in normal operation.

4.6 Concentration risk

The strategy concentrates exposure in a single underlying (NAS100). It is not diversified across asset classes, geographies, or instruments, and is therefore more exposed to adverse moves in that market than a diversified portfolio would be.

4.7 Currency risk

Underlying instruments may be denominated in currencies other than the currency in which you contribute and withdraw. Exchange rate movements may reduce the value of your participation.

5. No advice

Nothing on this website, in the investor portal, or in any communication from Blue Chip Origin constitutes investment, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for assessing whether participation is suitable for your personal circumstances and, where appropriate, for seeking independent professional advice.

6. Suitability self-assessment

You should only consider participating if all of the following are true:

  • You can afford to lose the entire amount you contribute without affecting your standard of living.
  • You are not relying on the contributed funds, or any return from them, for living expenses, debt repayment, or near-term financial commitments.
  • You understand that the activity is speculative and that automated systems can fail.
  • You accept that withdrawals may be delayed in stressed market conditions.

7. Acknowledgement

By depositing capital you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this risk disclosure in full, and that you accept the risks described.
